Morten (family guy and father of two boys), the visionary “tavern keeper” behind Furry Tavern, is a soul deeply rooted in the realms of fantasy, furry companions, and captivating tales.

In his late 40s, Morten’s journey began in the era of heavy metal and the golden age of tabletop roleplaying games—worlds where imagination knew no bounds and every turn held the promise of adventure. It was here, among the dice rolls and character sheets, that Morten’s lifelong love affair with beautiful art and storytelling was kindled.

Growing up, Morten wasn’t just playing games; he was crafting universes, drawing inspiration from the intricate album covers of his favorite bands and the rich narratives of his RPG adventures. His fascination with the furry denizens of these fantastical worlds grew into a broader appreciation for all creatures great and small, mythical or otherwise.

For years, Morten dreamt of bringing a piece of these cherished worlds into the tangible realm, a desire that has now culminated in the creation of Furry Tavern.
